Unfortunately I could not find more examples. It is initially devoted to a plugin architecture but it seems that it can be used as a COM equivalent, see this old post and Chapter 5 (Carbon Plug-ins) of "Mac OS X Advanced Development Techniques " by Joe Zobkiw. Good place to start is the COM area of Microsoft’s web site, ![]() It never went Universal and the Carbonization was kind of minimal, but you can extract some nice vector work out of it via the OS X print-to-PDF functionality. Seek out the wealth of documentation already published about COM. Appleworks is still available, and may be a good choice if you want something with the kind of simplicity that the old-timey Mac paint and draw apps used to have.
